Project overview.

We designed and delivered an organisation-wide AI enablement programme, combining structured training with practical experimentation and governance. Introductory sessions explianed AI concepts and built confidence across all functions. Crucially, that confidence created the conditions for genuine experimentation — colleagues began identifying real use cases from their own experience. We worked with them to surface, prioritise and evaluate those ideas, assessing feasibility and potential economic benefit to identify which were worth developing further. Governance guidelines were developed in parallel to ensure responsible and legally sound adoption.

Challenge.

The organisation recognised AI as strategically important but lacked the internal capability, confidence, or structure to move from curiosity to action. Concerns around creativity, copyright, and job security required careful handling alongside the practical capability-building work.

Result.

Over 700 colleagues participated in training, with high satisfaction and a measurable increase in AI confidence across the organisation. More than 40 practical use cases were identified, prioritised and evaluated — several developed into working tools. The programme was recognised with an internal innovation award and established a foundation for continued AI adoption independently of the project.
